This won’t be an easy task and Banksy and Ross will need the help and support of current coaches and managers and will be looking for additional support from parents and the community to move the club forwards, if you are interested in getting involved or you have any ideas our newly appointed joint chair people would love to hear from you, please use the website contact form or email them at chairperson@yateunitedfc.co.uk

Under 15’s raise community spirits.

Yate United under 15’s organise charity match in memory of young mother taken to soon,

Yate United has often been called a family by many of its members within the teams. However, Yate United has always tried to do the best for its wider community, the home of its players. Football is one of those sports that is so much more than kicking a ball with friends and winning medals. It’s a support network, a safe place for children and their families to make friends, laugh with each other, and a support group when times are hard.
These photos are from the recent Charity game in August where both Yate United U15s teams played each other. Teams were managed by Steve Archard and Rich Haskins, with help from Ross Spicer, Paul Kirby and Neil Bennett. The game was held in memory of a local mum, who sadly lost her fight with kidney failure, leaving her family at such a young age.
This lovely kick about among friends was to mark her passing, while helping to support the family’s friends and family in our football community, in the best way the teams knew how. The money raised at this game is a small gesture to help them during their time of need.
Yate United is so proud of the players who took part in this game and wish to remind all its families the club is always here if they need support.
